Flashback to the 80's

This is a good way to start my blog life. I went to see NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK! Yes 15 years after they broke my heart...they stomp into my life again. I went with Cindy Gonzales and Esmeralda De La Garza. Cindy is Esmer's sister and Esmer is a great friend. Thank you Cindy for the tickets! Sorry you ate the floor trying to take pictures. Natasha Bedingfield was the was the opener. She was really good and had legs that were miles long. She had these white super heels on also. And she was dancing so smooth in those crazy super heels. Oh and she sang pretty well.
When NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK came on stage, Esmer and I held onto each other like love struck teenagers. We screamed and hugged each other with tears in our eyes. See...we both never went to one of their concerts when we were younger. So this was a childhood dream fulfilled. They sang the oldies and all their of new album. The oldies sounded totally awesome. I missed Joey McEntire's puberty squeeky voice though. The dance moves were right on! My husband Eddie warned me that they would be out on stage with their "walkers" or "electric wheelchairs". But I guess they left them at home and had their chiropractor fix them up before pulling out the old moves. My voice is kinda rough this morning from all the screaming. I will say that they still made my heart jump. The New Kids on The Block grew into some seriously sexy men.
